Dear sister Hales in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the authority of the Holy Priesthood I place my hands upon your head to seal upon you a Patriarchal Blessing and to say such tings to you as the spirit of the Lord shall influence me to say. You are of the seed of Israel and your lineage is through the tribe of Ephraim the son of Joseph and in as much as you have embraced the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have been faithful up to the present time, you are entitled to the blessings thereof. I say unto you, rejoice that you have been born in this land and that you have had the privilege of being taught and instructed in the principles of the Gospel and your life, up to the present time is acceptable to the Lord for your heart is pure and upright before Him and you have no other desire than to serve the Lord and to live worthy of his blessings and for this you have prayed to the Lord and He has heard and answered your prayers and given you strength to live a good life and whatever faults you may have He has pardoned and you are chosen, dear sister, to perform a great mission upon the earth for you have been born in a time when woman has found her proper sphere and place in this world, and that her usefulness and worth are recognized as never before. You were chosen before you left the mansions of your Heavenly Father and you were appointed to come here and to be the companion of a worthy man, a man of God and to be united with him in the sacred ties of matrimony by the power and divine authority in the house of the Lord, bear this in mind that to this appointment and calling you gave your sanction there and also to give life and being to sons and daughters which God appointed you to do. Your influence shall be felt for good among all your associates in life and you shall be their blessing, a help and a guide to many and you shall have the privilege of preaching the Gospel among your home circle and abroad to many people. The Lord shall bless you with strength of body and vigor of mind and you shell be a witness that it is profitable to keep the laws of life and health as God your Father has appointed. You shall be permitted to live long upon the earth and your eyes shall behold marvelous things, which were I to tell you you would not understand. You live in the dawn when that great preparation is to be made for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and if you live near unto the Lord you shall have a great part to perform in that great preparation that when He comes in the clouds of Heaven that you may be called and be prepared to meet him for this shall be your privilege. I seal you up against the power of the destroyer, until the day of redemption, that you may be saved with a full salvation in the Celestial Kingdom of your Father, together with all whom you love in life. I seal these blessings upon you dear sister upon condition of your faithfulness by virtue of the Holy Priesthood and in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
